From Egypt to Artic Norway!

Red bull at the ready! What a busy month March is turning out to be for me, after booking a last minute 2 week holiday in Sharm El Shiekh which was fantastic (more information to follow!) I am now of on a totally new adventure, 3 nights on-board Hurtigruten’s MS Finnmarken. Thursday morning I will be flying out to Tromso, Norway and disembarking 3 nights later in Trondheim, Norway. Hurtigruten have planned a fantastic itinerary for the agents travelling on the trip including dog sledging, which sounds fantastic alone!

We will also be visiting Hartstad and Stokmarknes also.

I’m really looking forward to the trip, the scenery is reported to be beautiful and breath-taking, and hopefully we will have a glimpse of the northern lights.

The down side is the cold! After spending 2 weeks in Egypt I’m sure the cold temperatures are going to hit me even more, but I have my thermals at the ready!

Hurtigruten offer a wide variety of cruises mainly focusing on Norway, Spitsbergen, Greenland and Antarctica. They are most popular for their Northern lights itinerary’s, a once in a lifetime trip and I seem to have more and more passengers wanting to take a cruise to see the spectacular lights.

I will give you a full report upon my return and of course plenty of photos!
