Beautiful Mexico

I have recently returned from a 2 week holiday in Mexico which was just perfect! I travelled with my parents brother and my little boy Alfie to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. This was my 4th trip to Mexico always staying in different all inclusive property’s and each one has always been fantastic. This time we opted for the Grand Bahia Principe Coba located in the Riviera Maya because it is a child friendly property with a children’s waterpark meaning there were lots of families travelling at the hotel which suited us. Everything really was perfect , except the mosquitoes but that cant be helped!

The pools, the food, drinks the weather everything was spot on. Although there was one thing that could have been better, the seaweed! Much of the Caribbean coast of Mexico is struggling with a daily battle against the seaweed, the hotels have employees on the beach constantly trying to clear it but as much as they shovel the sea pushes ore seaweed in they really are fighting a losing battle on a daily basis! This is just mother nature and something that cant be helped, of course it would have been better if the seasweed wasn’t around but hey ho.

One thing you can always expect to see in Mexico is plenty of wildlife around the hotels and this particular resort seemed to have a high number of iguana residents, in the past ive spotted the odd iguanas but here you would see maybe 50 a day! Great for the little one! Along with raccoons and coatis.

Would i recommend Mexico? Always.
