Black Friday- Are you ready?

When I think of Black Friday it always makes me think of the crazy shopping videos you see of consumers lining up waiting for the retail staff to open the doors and then like a herd of animals practically stampeding there way into the store. This has of course been in different locations in America, where it all began.  SWo9metimes it can get a bit scary seeing people actually fighting over the latest TV that has been dramatically reduced. To be honest, I’m not one for getting up at 4 am to join this queue, it baffles me that people do. It seems though (I could be wrong) that Black Friday is a fairly new thing over here but is increasingly getting bigger and bigger.

Black Friday began in the USA as far back as the 1940’s,  it is the day after Thanks Giving, which is the fourth Thursday of November. It first started in the UK in 2010 and I imagine will carry on for many more years to come.

The reason I am discussing Black Friday is this is when you can grab yourself a bargain for that perfect cruising holiday you have been promising to go on but never gotten around to booking. The information is still under wraps so I can’t give much information away, other than usually its the main cruise lines that take part. i.e Princess, Royal Caribbean. Going by last year they had some amazing deals. The Black Friday deals will be over Friday, Saturday and Sunday and again like last year we expect to be busy. Different to last year we are still offering the £1 deposit on cruises (terms & conditions apply), so it makes it even easier to secure your cruise without having to pay a large deposit before Christmas.
