Are you good at time keeping?

On the 15th of February there is a video of a couple chasing after the Symphony of the seas as it was pulling away as they didn’t make it back in time. I’m not sure of the reason but surely if the ship is due to leave at 3pm wouldn’t you get back to the port for 2.30pm? I was on the Independence in May 2018 and we had to wait for passengers. Lucky for them we did and they managed to get on board.

Do you think the Captain should wait if able to, or do you think they should on time?

If its a genuine reason then you have to have a bit of compassion but if its because you are bad at time keeping do you think cruise lines should charge a late fee?

There was also another instance with a Norwegian Breakaway in 2016 where a lady failed to get back and her three children were in the kids clubs. I mean how awful is that? I thought if you were getting off you weren’t allowed to leave your children on board, personally I wouldn’t dream of doing this. Also it was leaving Nassau with the next stop Miami. Imagine trying to explain this to little ones.

Times are there for a reason and if 5,516 other passengers managed to get back on time I don’t see why the last two can’t.
