What is it like to work from Home????

Well lots of my friends say I have a very easy life, no travelling, no rush hour traffic, make a coffee when you feel like it!!!

Well, I will let you into a little secret.

Working from home is not easy, some days I don’t even leave the house, with so much to do, no day is the same. With new enquiry’s coming through, my past passengers wanting me to look at cruises, emails to action, making sure that each of my customers has the correct documentation to travel with before they depart, welcoming home customers that have returned and making sure they had a wonderful time, there really is no time to be bored and sit and do nothing.

You do need to be focused and discipline yourself. I previously worked for Thomson and had to drive 40 mins, that bit I do not miss. Sometimes you do feel isolated and on your own, so to cure that I have the radio on, just to give some background noise, which takes that loneliness away.

Some days I don’t even have time for a break, trying to spin all the plates that are involved with this job.

Overall, I really enjoy my job and love every aspect of it and feel very lucky to work for cruise.co.uk. They have given me such a massive opportunity, this job really fits in well with my two boys.  I have now worked from home for over two years and have adjusted and adapted to spending a lot of time on my own. The highlight of my week, is when I go food shopping and actually get out of the house!
