Destination Barcelona…..

So this time I thought I would give you some helpful information on Barcelona..

With Barcelona being a huge hub to many Cruise Lines, I thought I would let you know what exactly is on offer for customer’s wanting a Pre or Post cruise stay in this vibrant city with so much to do.

So firstly lets look at which cruise ships sail from Barcelona..

Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, NCL, MSC, Princess, Disney and if your looking for a 6 Star ship, then you have Oceania, Regent, Silversea, Azamara to just name a few. With each cruise line offering something for everyone’s tastes and budget.

With my being a lady, lets start with shopping. Les Ramblas is the main street for shopping here. From Luxury, to the young designers and classic shops, there really is something to suit everyone. Remember Barcelona is a European City with bargain prices.

If you have never been to Barcelona, you may wonder where is the best place to eat. With every type of cuisine on offer, from burgers, Asian,Sushi,Fish and Seafood, Pizza’s and not forgetting you Vegetarians. What a diverse City and a huge choice I am sure you won’t get hungry.

One thing I always get asked about is the Barcelona Football Stadium.  You could book your cruise around their fixtures and take in a match whilst in this wonderful city. If not, then a tour of the stadium….I was lucky enough to go many years ago and the atmosphere was amazing.

How many cities have a beach nearby? Barcelona has glorious beaches, so to combine a city with a beach why don’t you try it? It’s coastline stretches for 4.5km. The closest beach to the city is less than 20 minutes walk.
