What a time to Live on The South Coast..

I was thinking this week after speaking to one of my customers who lives in Southampton what a Fab time it is to live on the South Coast of England.

It’s no secret that Devon, Cornwall and Southampton get the best of the UK Sunshine but with our summers getting hotter it’s got almost as many days of sunshine as some parts of the Med.

Even better, you are spoilt for choice with more and more cruises going out of Southampton.

2020-2021 brings a record number of ships to Southampton, already a firm favorite with P&O and up until recently Royal Caribbean have had two ships sailing out every week through spring and summer MSC on occasion and NCL each have a ship, 2020-2021 is bringing three Princess cruise ships to our shores so we have so many wonderful options.

With a potential no deal Brexit looming with more and more cruises going out of the UK, there will be no shortage of new customers wanting to try their first cruise out of Southampton.

I loved sailing out of Southampton as it means I can take as much  luggage as I like, I also love that you can park up at 11am next to the ship and head over to the queue and be on board in your cabin by 12-1pm if your lucky through the checking process.

Your holiday starts immediately which if I am honest is starting to appeal to me even more.

Even when you fly short-haul to Europe often it can be 6-8 hours each way from your home to your hotel as you have to park at the airport, along with the 2-2 hours before flight departs to check in and get  through customs. That’s not to mention at the other end getting a taxi or transfer to your hotel. Don’t get me wrong, to travel the world you do have to fly but I do love the fact with cruising out of Southampton your holiday starts straight away.

It is no wonder cruisers from the UK are excited about the future of cruise post Brexit from the UK
