Turkey here I come

Hello everyone.

Well the summer has truly left us and already I miss the sun so what else better to do than book a last minute break away.

So after spending hours looking for somewhere with sun and not to expensive we have ended up booking a TUI holiday to Turkey.

We are staying at TUI Magic life Waterworld in Antalya. I have stayed at a Magic Life before and it was excellent. So much to do, swimming, sports, fitness classes, water slides and water sports and great food.

I know many people still feel afraid to travel to Turkey but anything can happen anywhere.

So now all i have to do is apply for my visa to enter Turkey and of course pack my suitcase which I will end up doing the morning before we go as I always leave it till last minute and then panic that I don’t have this or that.

Talking about Visas, many UK citizens have had trouble entering China this week which has you can imagine has kept us very busy as we  offer many package holidays that combine China with a cruise. We had many passengers travelling to China not knowing if they would be allowed entry.

We have been in constant contact with our passengers and we have sent over a local tour guide to look after them as well as making alternative arrangements for them. We have also been helping passengers who booked with our competitors and making sure they are also being looked after.

It seems that those passengers that had a chinese visa in their passport were being allowed in but  those that were using the 144 hour transit pass were being randomly  turned away .

Anyone who is due to travel to China  is being advised to purchase a visa before travelling  by contacting the embassy direct or through a visa expert such as CIBT Visas.

So only a few more days at work and then I am off for a whole 2 weeks.
