Tui to Join the River Market

Tui have been firm favourites with the ‘new to cruising’ market for many years and have consistently delivered a great quality brand and reputation.

2020 will see them enter ‘New’ waters, Rivers to be precise as they embark on the rapidly growing River Cruise Market.

The German based company has always maintained its quality of service and though wanting to try something new have found the confidence to try with Tui in the world of Ocean Cruises for many years. Those who were a little bit skeptical about what to expect felt they could trust the brand as they had experienced with Land based Holidays.

In recent years, Tui have revitalised several Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Ships to enhance their fleet and increase the amount of carry on passengers.

They have recently acquired three new River Ships that they will be launching in 2020. Each of the ships will provide sophisticated accommodation to 155 guests and a staff Ratio of 4:1, it will be a far more personal touch that they offer.

All of their ships will feature as Adult only enabling good quality entertainment onboard without any distractions. There are two main entertainment venues, the Club lounge which will be a bit more relaxed for a coffee of pre dinner drink over the Observatory, where the nightly entertainment will deliver a great evening.

There are also a couple of Dining choices too which is quite unusual. A Main Dining room which will serve breakfast, Lunch and Dinner or the less formal Bistro that again will offer a twist on the main dining room.

The Ships will cover the Rivers Main, Danube and Dutch and Belgian Waterways. prices look very competitive with a Full board Plus as standard and they are even throwing in an excursion Credit if you book now!

It will be quite exciting to see if they can merge into to this very desirable market. Do you think they can do it?
