Quebec Cruises

The Canadian province of Quebec bridges the gap between the old world of Europe and the new world of the Americas, with an awe-inspiring natural setting to boot! The two main cities in this region are Montreal and Quebec City, both with abundant charms and serious French vibes. Admire the dramatic landscapes of the Gaspe Peninsula and towering heights of Montmorency Falls, or spend your time wandering the historic alleyways and cobbled streets of Quebec City with its grand Place Royale and military fortresses. This cosmopolitan destination is surrounded by still-untouched wilderness.

Quebec

QUéBEC - DID YOU KNOW?

Old Quebec feels seriously European, with its France-inspired landmarks like the Place Royale, Parliament Buildings and Petit-Champlain District. Perfectly preserved, these streets are some of the oldest in North America and are a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The city also houses an outstanding collection of museums to rival anything in Europe, a highlight of which is the National Museum of Beaux-Arts. The MNBAQ includes over 38,000 masterpieces, showcasing Quebec artists from the past few centuries.

Niagara Falls may be impressive, but Montmorency’s crashing plumes of water are even grander! This waterfall stands at a height that’s 30 metres above Niagara, surrounded by thick forests. Cross over the suspension bridge to walk above the falls and experience the thrill of the natural world, or get your heart pounding with a zipline.

A popular day trip from Quebec City is the Ile d’Orleans, which takes you back to the 18th century with its charming churches, wooden homes and tiny villages. You can stop off at farm stands to sample local produce or pick up artisanal souvenirs along the way.

You can explore Quebec’s Francophone culture in the region’s dynamic festivals! The New France Festival is marked with dancing and special events in the streets of Quebec City each year.
