Holidays during half term.

Like many people out there I am one of them people that has to go on holiday during the school half term holidays. This is because my wife is a teacher. I mean who would choose to be a teacher. Not only do she have to deal with hundreds of children on a daily basis. When she does get to have some time off to relax and go away somewhere everywhere is 3 times the price. This year however it will be different. On the 12th of July 2018 we will be having a baby of our own. This got me thinking I can actually go on a holiday outside of half terms as hopefully my wife will be taking a whole year off. #winning. I suppose there needs to be some perks for dirty nappies and sleepless nights. Now I am thinking where and when do I go and how easy will it be going away with a child under 1. On most cruise lines they don’t take infants until they are 6 months. The problem with this is that will take us to our winter months and I don’t really fancy a trip to europe in the rain. If we decide to fly somewhere he will go free if he sits on either of our laps. I may take advantage of this offer before it’s too late. Again though I wouldn’t want to fly too far as I would like to ease him and us in gently. Oh what dilemmas I have. So once we get to wherever we are going, will holidays ever be the same again?! Do we do a villa where we can keep a constant eye on him. There are just so many unanswered questions. I am super excited about going away just the 3 of us, however it seems now that paying extra for half terms isn’t the only thing we have to worry about.

Have any of you out there been on a holiday with an infant. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Also like to hear from you about going away during half terms. Is there any tips and tricks you would recommend about getting a better deal
