MSC Bellissima

This week I was asked if I would like to take the maiden voyage on the brand new ship the MSC Bellissima. The only answer that came from my lips was yes and thank you.

I shall be sailing from Southampton to Barcelona on the 04th of March 2019 for 8 nights.

I am so excited as I have been desperate to get onboard one of the new MSC ship for a while as I loved the Preziosa. Plus I have some really good regular guests of mine onboard the same sailing and it will be the prime opportunity to meet with them after 5 years.

Unfortunately, I will not be attending the 2day pre-sailing event which would have been nice but will be happy to spend 8 nights getting to know this ship to feedback to you all.

The 2-day christening is taking place in Southampton with a host of celebrities in attendance. MSC are known for their fabulous launches and this will be no exceptions. So if your in Southampton on the 01st-3rd March you might catch a glimpse of these famous faces:

Sophia Loren – the beautiful Italian screen siren who will be godmother yet again to MSC newest ship

Holly Willoughby, Singer Craig David, and Musician Nile Rodgers.

Guests will also see an exclusive Cirque du Soleil at Sea performance during the ceremony on the pier as a taster of two new shows to be showcased on the ship. The entertainment will continue into the evening back on board the ship with a gala dinner followed by live music from platinum-selling UK singer Leee John.

Here are a few facts for you regarding the new ship: Weighing in at 167800 tonnes and overall length of 316m, she can take at full capacity 5710 passengers plus 1500 crew!

This will be the biggest ship I have ever sailed on and MSC is certainly trying to reach that Royal Caribbean big ship audience.

So watch out for my live posts and lots of content on my FaceBook page during the sailing to experience this new ship with me.
