The pre-Christmas rush!

Well it’s certainly been a busy few weeks!

Half term has just finished and I spent 9 lovely days with my 5 year old son – we managed to fit in swimming, a cinema trip, indoor soft play and countless visits to the park! I really cherish my time off with him and always feel sad when its back to school time! I also logged in over the half term and booked several P&O cruises as they have just gone on sale for 2021 & 2022 and they have some amazing offers so its definitely worth checking those out!

As I look to what’s coming up in the next 8 weeks, we have lots of our staff off on the brand new Norwegian Encore later this week and also on the new MSC Grandiosa launch event in Southampton – both events look like they will be a lot of fun, its a great perk of working for Cruise.co.uk – I will be here helping to man the fort!

MSC Grandiosa will carry almost 6,300 passengers and 1,700 crew!

December brings our annual conference and we will be sailing on Columbus (Cruise & Maritime Voyages) to Antwerp & Amsterdam. I have been on Magellan a few times before but I’m really excited to see Columbus as I have heard great things about the ship, its a fantastic opportunity to see all my colleagues from around the business and also meet representatives from the various different cruise lines who will help prepare us for the busy booking period after Christmas! We have a fancy dress party planned whilst onboard and I’m struggling to decide what to wear as its a Disney theme!

I’ve been to Amsterdam a few times now but still love returning and seeing places I haven’t been before, it will be great to see the city in its festive glory!
