The MSC Experience

I recently joined a group on Facebook that follows MSC cruise passengers with their questions, onboard experiences and also their great videos when they are on the ship. A very loyal customer and friend of mine added me to the group and it has been an eye-opener, not just for details on the ship, but also for the ports of call they visit.

My customer would do daily Facebook video’s of her on-board the ship showing us all the great things to do when in port along with some great advice of all the do’s and don’ts, which has been educational for me as an agent, not having travelled to a lot of the ports of call she traveled to.

She would also do live feeds when on the ship showing us some of the venues and what they have to offer. This was a long cruise from Cape Town to Venice for 24 nights, which I know a lot of you including myself would never be able to do, due to work restrictions. However, the feedback after she was back from the cruise was amazing, albeit some of the UK clientele had some issues onboard due to the food not being up to scratch. However, with this being a cruise that caters a lot for the European market, the food tries to cater for all but is mainly up to the European standards.

Anyone feeling hungry after seeing those photos?

As my customer has probably done well in excess of 50+ cruises and the majority of them with MSC, she understands what MSC cruises can offer and as she has said in the past, you can do 2 MSC cruises for the same price as 1 cruise with another American cruise line. So in all honesty, she is very savvy with her money when it comes to cruises and making sure she gets to travel as much as she can.

In her words “customers need to research the cruise before confirming, so they can get a better understanding as to what the cruise line stands for and what it can offer”. I have been booking my customer for some years now and my Husband and I had the pleasure to meet her and her Husband on-board the MSC Orchestra last year for a 4-night mini cruise.

In my opinion, would I travel with MSC again? Yes, I certainly would but perhaps on a newer ship. Taking into account, I have done 9 cruises all with different cruise lines as I would like to experience them all, but that would not stop me from cruising with MSC again if the right deal came up.

If you are looking to book your next cruise with MSC and looking for information or feedback, then why not contact me directly on 0800 408 6116 or 0330 303 8216 or [email protected] and I will be happy to assist.
