We mainly ate meals on deck. The steak dishes were particularly memorable.
Entertainment:
A good mix of comedians, singers, dancers and magicians. The pianist in the Observation bar was superb.

The party at Carambola Beach (St Kitts) was our favourite.

CARIBBEAN DREAM We sailed on a 12 night Caribbean cruise in November 2017 round trip from Miami. We flew Virgin Atlantic and were met at Miami Airport by a private chauffeur with limousine to drive us to the Four Seasons hotel for a one night pre-cruise stay. The hotel and facilities were superb but having checked in we took a cab to South Beach to eat and enjoy the lively atmosphere. At 11.00pm it was still 85 degrees! The following morning we had time to explore Miami a little bit more before another private transfer to Miami Cruise Terminal to join Seabourn Odyssey where we enjoyed the most seamless boarding we have ever experienced. Our OB grade Verandah Suite (826) was ideally located on the port side amidships about a 20 second walk to the Patio Pool and bar! The suite was beautifully designed and appointed with many thoughtful touches including a huge walk-in wardrobe with copious amounts of storage, a fully tiled bathroom with twin wash basins and a separate bath and shower compartment, and a large balcony with sun loungers and a table. Fresh flowers and fruit were provided daily and the mini bar was replenished as necessary. Seabourn Odyssey is yacht like in appearance and a perfect size for Caribbean cruising. The ship is well designed and impeccably maintained with an extremely professional, friendly (but courteous and respectful) service orientated crew. Nothing was too much trouble and staff recruitment and training is clearly of a very high order. There are five dining venues (including in-suite dining) and the cruise was long enough to try them all. Our favourite venue was The Patio, eating under the stars adjacent to the pool. It goes without saying that the menu choices, quality of food, presentation and service were exceptional. Drinks are, of course, included. The itinerary changed several time prior to the sailing date due to the impacts of various hurricanes, principally Irma and Maria, but we enjoyed al the ports of call (St Thomas, Antigua, St Kitts, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Nevis) but the call at the Dominican Republic was cancelled due to the heavy swell which would have made tendering dangerous. Our favourite islands were St Thomas, where we hired a Jeep and visited beautiful Magens Bay (and also witnessed some of the hurricane devastation) and Carambola Beach in St Kitts where we had a fabulous time experiencing one of Seabourns beach party signature events which includes champagne and caviar being delivered to the beach by the head chef, hotel manager and catering team members by speedboat! Seabourn is not a cheap cruising option but it provides a very memorable life experience which we would heartily recommend.
