Oasis of the Seas Jan 2oth. This was our first cruise with RC and we were not disappointed. We were most impressed with the wonderful open spaces, the Promenade, the Boardwalk and Central Park. There was always somewhere to walk or sit and we seemed to discover new places every day and it never felt too crowded which was one of my fears on such a large ship. The shows were absolutely excellent and we especially enjoyed the wonderful production in the skating rink with the fabulous costumes and high standard of skating. We were fortunate to be not too far from one of the balconies overlooking the aqua show and so had a great view of the amazing diving and synchronised swimming shows. These people were fantastic athletes and we also enjoyed watching them 'at play' on Labadee. That venue in itself was lovely experience with plenty of places to sunbathe and delicious food. The staterooms were well designed and kept very clean by the hardworking, friendly staff who we really appreciated. The same goes for the dining staff who were always keen to serve and were so attentive when serving the delicious meals. The food in the main restaurant and in the buffet restaurant was so good and so varied and was renewed constantly. There was so much choice! I ate too much!. My only complaint was it would have been useful to have coffee machines on the corridors so that we could easily get a drink to take to our staterooms. Our departure from Port Canaveral was delayed, but the orderly way in which several thousand passengers were accommodated and then taken onboard was so efficiently done that it did not seem an inconvenience at all. I look forward to going on another cruise with Royal Caribbean again as it was such a lovely experience. Thank you everybody concerned.
