Oasis really was an oasis
We travelled on oasis of the seas last year. We were overlooking Central Park in a stateroom with balcony. Wow! What a ship! It is huge with many restaurants and bars. We loved the lift bar that alternated between decks. There is so much to do on board, it even has a shopping arcade as well as the usual cinemas, theatres etc., our particular favourite was the comedy club, there are two comedians per night and it so much fun. There is a zip wire on the deck which we went on several times, didn't have any children with us but apparently the kids entertainment is superb. We only ate in one speciality restaurant only because the food was so good in the no subsidy restaurants. Entertainment was very good and very varied and the ports of call were all superb. All in all we could not fault the holiday and would recommend Oasis to anyone. We have been cruising many, many times before but the Oasis of the Seas was defitely our favourite. Considering that the ship is home to over six thousand passengers there is so much space aboard that it feels comfortable and relaxed. The sports facilities are superb with a running track that runs all round the inside of the ship. The gym is so well equipped it beats any high street gym you can mention. The food was incredible, if you intend staying the same weight as you were when you arrived on the ship - forget it or use the running track every day. The staff were so helpful and friendly and whenever we went for a drink in the evening the staff all remembered our names and even what we were drinking. In the restaurants the staff were knowledgeable and informative and so, so helpful. I would recommend anyone to try Oasis the sooner the better.
