Excellent cruise well worth it
This was our first cruise after the Covid nightmare. Embarkation at Southampton was a little slow but quite efficient. The luggage arrived at our cabin quite quickly and our cabin steward introduced himself very quickly and gave excellent service throughout the cruise. We had a mini suite which was very spacious, with balcony two televisions and was very clean and comfortable.Princesses Cruises have the new medallion class app. Which is your passport on board and ashore. A new innovation which worked fairly well, needing some modifications but I am sure will be excellent when all the errors have been ironed out. Without exception the crew were really good, nothing too much trouble, friendly and professional (they were struggling with numbers of crew especially on the outer top decks) and drinks were slow to arrive. Most of the entertainment was excellent, a brilliant show “The Rock Opera” had you paid West End Ticket prices you would not have been disappointed For us there were too many quizzes throughout the whole cruise, on board shops a disappointment. The specialty restaurants were OK but not as good as we have experienced on previous cruises. The main restaurants and buffet restaurant were really good but the menu was a little repetitive. Staff excellent. The premium drinks package of £30 pp per day was exceptionally good value. No bar bill gratuities or any extras to pay at the end of the cruise, also includes free Wi-Fi. Everything included. In all Enchanted Princess is a lovely ship, the staff were exceptional and worked tirelessly under unprecedented conditions (Covid). We thoroughly enjoyed it but no doubt the usual moaners on board probably didn’t. Good value a great cruise and we have booked again whilst on board. Recommended and even though a family ship no children to be seen
