First and (sadly) Last!
We had always intended to sail onboard Oriana, but it just never worked out, although we stood on the edge of Southampton Water the day before we were due to cruise on P & O's Victoria and watched her sail out on her second cruise! Obviously the only thing Oriana lacks is balcony cabins, everything else is catered for: a little reminiscent of QE2 in some ways - so stylish, so spacious (nothing ever seemed to be crowded) and the usual friendly and efficient P & O service. The entertainment staff worked their socks off and provided the best shows at sea (as always) and the itinerary including the Azores was sufficiently 'different' to be very enjoyable for us (we also had an unscheduled return there due to a medical emergency and full marks to the Captain and crew for making up time and getting us to out next port - Madeira - on time). Sad that we won't be able to enjoy Oriana again, but the World moves on it seems!
