Journey of a lifetime

Reviewed By: on
My experience cruising with P&O was fantastic, we flew from Gatwick to Barbados to pick up AZURA , the transfer was first class , after the plane land in Barbados, we came off the plane & into a coach that was waiting on the Tarmac, , never went into the airport terminal, we were ferried straight to the waiting ship in the port , first class treatment.the ship was amazing, the cabins were fantastic, clean spacious &well designed, walk in wardrobe, excellent shower&bathroom facilities, the living area was great also , television with sky news &sports &in ship channels plus many more . Fridge for your drinks , &other balcony was great , you have to have a balcony view of the ocean &a the sun ,so nice to sit there with a cup of tea ,coffee or a glass of wine . The beds are so comfortable you will not miss your own bed.you also have the luxury of setting the room temperature as you like , air conditioning or heat for the night . The cabin stewards will get you anything you need 24 hrs a day , the food was also fantastic, I've put on halt a stone & I'm the sort of person who watch what I eat , with 5 sit down &order restaurants &2 buffets restaurants which is also fantastic& the food is cook to perfection, they are all great I like Ventura because I can see & choose what I want to eat , that is the buffet restaurant, but for fine dining which they are 5 , situe Indian restaurant had the edge on the others , the staff are great &and very friendly with a smile , especially aLADY CALL GRACE who works in situe restaurant in the evenings her smile lit up the restaurant in the evenings &and the Ventura for breakfast. The service throughout the ship in all areas are great, in the theatre, the casino, the bars , the shops on board, the pool side bars & snack counter, the sports & gym staff . The entertainment manager Leon is also very entertaining, but the biggest appreciation goes out to CAPTAIN STEVEN HOWARTH, so informative about the ships workings , the ships directions, speed the countries you are docking in &a what to expect on the islands, all though the on board television, speaking to Leon the entertainment manager, wish I was still there , can't wait to book my next cruise , so much fun waking up in a different country every morning.
