Of course, because of the wavy wall, every other cabin has the opposite configuration with the bed by the balcony, so it's worth studying the deck plans before booking on the Epic.

We also cruised on this ship, never again. The bathroom situation was horrendous!!!! Who in there right mind thinks this is acceptable. We travelled as a couple, imagine if it were friends. There is NO privacy.

I travel with my sister and went on Epic from Barcelona to Miami. The bathroom arrangement was awful and we will never sail with Epic again. The sink position in the cabin was ridiculous and resulted in the end of the bed getting wet if you weren't very careful. Obviously an example of the look being more important than practicality!

I travelled on the epic last year with a frien and agree with everything said the cabin layout is very wrong there is no privacy especially if someone comes to tithe door as you walk through the shower toilet area to get to the bed. Also the there were very few quiet areas if you didn’t want to be in your cabin. Nevertheless we had a great cruise but think we will stick the NCL smaller boats in future .

We've done one transatlantic on the Epic from Barcelona and agree whole-heartedly with your thoughts on the layout of the facilities. However, we enjoyed everything else on the Epic that we have chosen to overlook the bizarre toilet facilities and are doing the transatlantic cruise again, next month, this time to Barcelona. We knew about this before the first trip by reading previous reviews but first and foremost, this is a ship where the use of space is at a premium.so we have decided not to let this spoil our trip as we never spend too much time in the cabin anyway.
