Cruise Elements:

Quality of Food:
In the restaurants and Buffett. Tried a bit of everything. The food really is outstanding. Tried the restaurant for breakfast some days and other days buffet. Buffet for lunch and teatime. Restaurant Dinner. Tried the set menus in restaurant when I could. It is a chance to eat something I wouldn't normally try.
Shows on all the cruises I have been on were excellent, can't say I saw a bad show. I think Dana's show on Cruise and Maritime was one I enjoyed most.
Shore Excursions:
The best was the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo, Norwegian Waterfalls and Dramatic Sceneries by Train and Stavanger Swords in the Rock Monument. The worst was a walking tour of Bergen. Around the Bryggen Quarter that didn't impress me at all and the guide was so boring. That was a waste of money felt brain dead by time he had finished.
All staff on every Cruise I have taken have been very polite, attentive and go that extra mile to help.
Childrens Activities:
Not applicable
Onboard Activities:
Enjoyed every thing I tried.
The Cabins I had on MSC and P&O were excellent. But the one on Cruise and Maritime was horrible. The cabin itself was nice enough but it was on deck 6 at the very back of ship it was so noisy due to the hydraulic s etc. And the engine vibration was horrendous. When ever ship slowed down the whole cabin would vibrate. I had a steward come to my cabin in the middle of night as the vibration was terrible the whole room shook. And whenever the ship docked the hydraulic winches were so load it was deafening. I was told nothing they could do And they could not move me as ship was full. I was offered some ear plugs by receptionist. That was the only problem I ever had on a cruise. Needless to say I haven't booked with Cruise and Maritime since. But the cruise itself was lovely.
My first ever Cruise was about  9yrs ago, To the Norwegian Fjords on the MSC Opera. I loved every minute of it, the ship was beautiful and the food Fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and nice. Especially our table waiter in the Evening his name was Henrico he looked after us well. As I was a Single traveller for Evening Dining, on my first night they Sat me with 3 other Single Guests. We became friends and would meet up together every day. It was such a lovely Cruise. I fell in love with Norway it was so beautiful, the scenery was breath taking and the excursions were brilliant, a little expensive but well worth it. It was a Cruise I will never forget it was my dream come true. I have since been on several other Cruises including two back to the Norwegian Fjords with other Cruise Lines . They were all fantastic but still none compare to my very first on the MSC Opera I will never forget that cruise or that beautiful ship it was fantastic.
I have sailed with P&O and Cruise and Maritime. I really enjoyed these cruises as well again the Ships, food and staff were all lovely and I had a fantastic time on them all. Each time I have gone to the Norwegian Fjords I have tried to visit different places, towns and cities if possible To see as much of this beautiful Country as I can  most Cruises either visit Bergen or Stavanger, Oslo was my favourite city but the little ports on the Fjords ( Flaam, Eidfjord, Gudvangen etc are out standing) the beautiful waterfalls and wonderful history will always remind me of my Visit. I really hope I will get to go back again if I possible can.
