MSC BELISSIMA VISIT

Reviewed By: on
My Visit to this particular cruise line was wonderful. So much detail in every section. From the glass lifts, to the Swarsovski stair case. So many activities to indulge yourself in, something for everyone.. including a spa, arcade room, swimming pools, Lego room and even a chill room with lots of comfortable bean bags, a basket ball area and a football pitch. The list is endless as unfortunately i only had 24 hours on this ship as it was a work visit, an educational overnight stay, We was due to sail to Guernsey however the weather was very bad so we did not end up sailing, but my time here was overwhelming. The rooms were comfortable and i felt right at home, with an en suite shower, a sofa and lots of storage, we had a balcony cabin on this visit and i couldnt help but keep peaking and taking it all in, because at times you forget your on water, your cabin is so peaceful, you do not hear any commotion frrom outside your room. The food was to a good standard and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and assisted with everything they could do enjoy our stay. There is many bars and restaurants so you never feel over crowded and you do not que for long. There was a great selection of shops and boutiques were you could buy anything from, pancakes, gifts and branded goods. The ship was very well planned out, easy to find everything you needed from deck to deck, signed well and always staff floating around in aid of help. Evening entertainment was amazing, we was lucky enough to have Craig David doing a DJ set on that particular evening, then there was an after party. we also attended one of the evening shows, full of classic music that everyone associated with, dancing and extravagant dresses and lighting. Phenomenal experience for me, i had never cruised before and this experience gave me a taste of it and i enjoyed it so much.

Cruise Elements:

Quality of Food:
During our stay we had fine dining, The Msc is an Italian ship, therefore the food was based with a theme. I had raviolli which was my favourite, alongside a selection of cheeses and crackers. I had lemon sorbet for pudding, croissants for breakfast, It was pleasant but the variety was limited
Entertainment:
During my visit we only experienced one show, but it was outstanding. Enjoyable, the audience all got involved singing and clapping, laughing at some moments, the costumes and lighting and stage creations were very west end. The show lasted about 60 minutes, got a seat quite quickly and i was glued.
Staff:
There was not one member of staff in particular that stood out from the rest, they were each exceptional and professional at all times. This was my first experience so i had many questions and each time they helped without any hesitation, pointing me in the right direction or explaining what i needed to do. At meal times they seated us, without delay took our orders and there was never a long wait for meals or snacks.
Childrens Activities:
I didn't have a child with me on my visit, but during the tour we saw many of the activities and rooms available to children. There is so much to occupy them i doubt any child would be bored or not enjoy there stay. From a lego room, to games room, with many more things to do, there's something for children all ages.
Onboard Activities:
There was many options of activities to do. There was pools, some with water flumes. Zip lining, sports centres, arcades, relaxation, spas. They had it all covered. So if you want a thrill or some time out, there is plenty to do.
Cabins:
10/10. The cabin was beautiful. All matching decor, switches for lighting was easy to find. The bed was clean, with plenty of pillows, The bed was so comfortable and high so no struggle to get in and out of. Plenty of space to get ready throughout the day, a sofa, a table and desk for other belongings. A television, a phone with room service, where you can enable your phone to bluetooth to play music, watch channels and even order room service. There was a wardrobe with a safe, for security storage. The bathrooms were of a nice size. Clean, with a mirrored wall, a powerful shower, towels provided. Very impressed.
