We too have just come back off the ship ( opposite itinerary) we also found that people had not got their allocated cabins and we too are just in contact with head office, and we too have found their attitude awful. Youbblackppo.

We also cruised with tui, now marella on majesty of the seas. The cabin was disgusting and we complained on board immediately and requested a flight home if we could not be moved to a clean cabin in a better state of repair. Reception assured us we would be moved but we would have to wait until the ship sailed! This did not happen, basically they were not bothered. On returning home we complained to head office and the response was unbelievable! They said there was no record of us complaining on board and hence they would not consider our complaint. They did not want to know at all. We sent a few letters to them explaining whst happened and they replied with the response that the matter was closed and did not even respond to future corespondence! We have been on at least 15 cruises with various companies and had wonderful experiences but we will NEVER CRUISE WITH TUI / MARELLA again.

And I too have been in contact with head office since returning as one of our cases had been tampered with. They have responded twice calling me another passengers name and case number and dealing with their complaint. How bad is that!

I guess someone from Cruise and Maritime must have moved to Marella head office. Our complaints of a cabin on Marco Polo with cheap foam mattresses, broken heating and shower that were never fixed and video evidence of excessive noise for a higher grade of cabin were all fobbed off. They even accused us of fiddling the video evidence.

No luggage? - did it ever reach the ship - the thought of not having my clothes etc is the stuff of nightmares!

Not until day 7 when the ship returned to Monetgo Bay. Didn't help the one of the ladies who was only on for a week.

Thanks for your reply. We went on Discovery last year in March - Glasgow to Barbados - 2 weeks - luggage received, thank the Lord! Was considering the transatlantic to Baarbados/Malaga next month - not now! Maybe it was a one off - but I just couldn't risk it!

This is disgraceful behaviour. I have never heard anything like it though we have been on a number of cruises from small and basic to luxury.
