First Time with Fred Olson
What an experience the Fjords are,but would have liked a larger ship We sailed on the Breamar from Harwich in May this year hoping the seas would be kind and yes they were not to bad The Breamar, a small ship but one of the friendliest we have been on ,the food was excellent ,cabin excellent, and the cleanliness of the ship very good Where ever you entered you had to use anti bacteria hand cleaner which was at least something that some ships don't enforce Our time was divided between ship and excursions, the excursions where ok but a bit over priced.we enjoyed the quizzes when we could and areas to relax in We found the food on board excellent at the area that where open, due to the time of year and weather conditions. There was always somewhere to eat at the given times .there would have been an open air grill on the sun deck ,but unfortunate for us it wasn't sunbathing weather so we excepted the ships decision There was two dinner sitting 1815 or 2030hrs these coinsided with the entertainment shows as the theatre was just big enough for each sitting. We all seemed to get a seat. We found the entertainment not that good, but we where in the minority on this one,so each to their own Going ashore on our own was very easy .the ports where all in good walking distance from the ship .the ship did provide lots of information on all the tours and ports of call Summary of the whole experience was good value for money If anyone is going with Fred Olson then have the drinks package you will not get a better one anywhere would we go again on Breamer only on a river cruise through Keel Canal into the Baltic
