Heaven on earth
My husband had booked a cruise for my 50th Needless to say I was overwhelmed. I had wanted a cruise since I was 15. My dad had booked one for the family when I was a teenager. It would have been my first time abroad but the holiday had to be cancelled due to health issues. The cruise ship was the queen Victoria. The bedroom was beautifully set out with a balcony to sit and relax on. The food was amazing along with excursions on shore. I had never imagined the amount and diversity of things to do on a cruise liner. Everything is catered for everyone from the youngest to the eldest. You can mix and mingle with other guests or if you require solitude then your wish is your command. The staff are so friendly and polite and very intuitive to what you want. I believe the staff are picked very selectively as they have a high standard to work to and must enjoy their jobs. The best part of the cruise liner is the front bar facing the sea and land. I had been so stressed at work and there had been family bereavements. That cruise was the medicine I needed. I am trying to save up to go another cruise but for 2 weeks rather than one. I would recommend a cruise to anyone of every age bracket. From the swimming pools to the gyms. The casinos to the entertainment. The buffets to fine dining. Excursions onshore to learning new skills onboard. To relaxing sunbathing and chilling to dancing the night away in either the ballroom or the disco. From the captain to the deckhands. A cruise caters for everything and the staff are more than staff. Theyre your friend and reliable from the start of the holiday till you disembark. A cruise should be given on prescription to all.
