Transatlantic crossing aboard the Queen Victoria
Me and my friend have just returned from an unforgettable transatlantic holiday onboard the Queen Victoria! The conditions at sea were lovely..the ship remained fairly still the whole way and the weather could not have been better for this time of year! The sun was strongly shining in Bermuda and the sights were beautiful..we were lucky to see dolphins on our first night on the ship and saw a huge ray when arriving into Cape Canaveral.
I loved eating at the lido and Britannia Restaurant..both had great choice but the service was wonderful especially in Britannia..our waiters were very friendly and had great humour!
Nothing could describe how good the service was by all the staff on board the ship but also the service given by my travel agent Tom..any query was quickly answered!
The activities on board were very varied and well timed meaning there was always something to do on board when not relaxing on the balcony! The shops were a pleasure to walk around..the quizzes were fun to do...the evening entertainment at the Yacht was brilliant! A great live band called Equinox had us dancing on the dancefloor every night as did DJ Adam! The pursers were always on hand to help on board with any query and was always a pleasure to talk to. The cabin stewardess we had was very friendly and hard working..our cabin was always immaculate and well kept.
I look forward to booking with www.CRUISE.co.uk again in the future to do another cruise..we are hooked! Nothing could be done to improve the holiday...it was a 10/10 holiday!! The final thing worth noting was how easy it was to check in for our cruise... one moment we was at the front desk in Southampton chatting to a very friendly member of staff...next thing we know is we are at our cabin looking out onto our balcony..so very impressed with our cabin and very greatful we chose a balcony cabin!
