Excellent company but compact cabin.
Very fine company, slanted towards American passengers and their tastes. Many fine staff, although we did have issues with our cabin stewardess needing to point out a blood spot left on a pillow cover. She never managed to fit the top sheet over the end of the mattress either, but our water and cabin booze never ran out! Our balcony cabin was small, with short couch and bath, but good balcony. The wardrobe had cross over sliding doors and luggage went under the bed. Bar and restaurants were very good.Live lobster being loaded for the start of each cruise. However the generally good room service did deliver an undercooked hamburger against all the rules. Luggage and tender services were excellent. The "Any Time" dining was not perfectly smooth, door reception a little confused and always being shown to the same tables with the same staff for our back to back cruises. The specialty restaurant staff were rushed and door reception bad we nearly walked away once. Plenty of deck and lounge space though the Palm Court often empty and with some failed panes of glazing. The new buffet breakfast/lunch area (once the second swim pool) was most attractive and food truly excellent. This is a mid size ship (around 1000 passengers) with a mainly American feel and some compact cabins, but run to the highest standards.
