Anniversary treat

Reviewed By: on
Booked this as a special treat for Our 25th anniversary and what an amazing time we had. Started with giving in our cases and finding them outside our room later. The room was lovely and just what we wanted with a lovely balcony to stand on when we entered the different ports. The all inclusive food package on board meant we could try different things without worrying about going hungry and can only say the food as amazing. As for the ship itself although smaller than a lot of the modern ones was still incredible and found it easy to get disorientated until we'd been on it for a few days. As for the staff they couldn't do enough to make our voyage one to remember and nothing was to much. Found the waiting staff at our dinner table especially accommodating so it was nice seeing the same faces every evening and having a rapport with them. Being our 25th wedding anniversary as well as my birthday everybody couldn't do enough from the cabin staff decorating our cabin with banners and balloons as well as a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to the dinner time waiting staff presenting us with a cake. There was also plenty to do to keep u busy while at sea whether u wanted to watch a show or learn something new. There were also plenty of shops aboard to keep the more wealthy passengers happy. As for the ports of call everyone was catered for whether u wanted a bit of adventure, learn something about the local culture or just wander round on your own u could. The main thing we liked was that u had a hotel room that moved with u so instead of having to pack up and find new accommodation you were taken to your destination making it far more relaxing.

Cruise Elements:

Quality of Food:
Ate the most in the main restaurant for dinner. Cant really say what were the most and least things I ate as continually tried different things but would probably say steak for the most.
Entertainment:
Best would have to be a ventriloquist as we were pulled up on stage as partofhis act. Not actually remember what was the worst.
Shore Excursions:
Best would be Madeira where we went on the wicker baskets from the top to the bottom of the mountain. Didn't really have a least favourite
Childrens Activities:
Onboard Activities:
Cant really remember
Cabins:
Cabin was very comfortable and more than big enough for the time we spent in it
