Canada and Alaska cruise on celebrity Eclipse
My Husband and I did a once in a life time holiday to Canada and Alaska , first on the Rocky Mountaineer which was fabulous and the a cruise 🚢 on Celebrity Eclipse from Vancouver to Alaska the Eclipse lovely ship which we have been on twice before but this time there were a lot of Americans on it and it was quite annoying to see them in Jeans hoodies frayed denim skirts queuing to go into the dining room when it states on the daily programme at the top every day what the dress code is for that night it is very disrespectful to think they can just turn up dressed like this when other people have made the effort to dress nicely I could not believe they were let into the main dining room . I did speak with the officer of hospitality about this and he was very surprised this was happening and said he would look into it . Apart from that we had a lovely cruise staff very nice ship spotless met some nice people Places we visited were very diverse saw a lot of nature whales dolphins bald eagles yellow belly critters elks and the back end or a black bear we would definitely recommend the Rocky Mountaineer to any one thinking of doing this trip it is a must if you are going to Canada you also get two days in Vancouver before you board the ship for Alaska we did the Suspension bridge and the hop on hop off bus is a must todo as you see such a lot in a short time there are two hop on of buses the 65 dollar one is the better as it also includes the ferry to Grenville Island which is a must see.
