On the small side but perfectly adequate. Great showers but do hate those shower curtains
On the 15 day cruise from Dubai. We had been on Constellation before so knew what to expect. It is due a refit but considering the age of the ship, is still in good nick in most areas. Embarkation was quick, we did arrive slightly in advance of our allotted times but there was no problem getting on board. Staterooms were not ready but we just went to Ocean Grill for something to eat and we were allowed to our rooms after a short wait.
After along overnight flight we just relaxed the first afternoon.
Stateroom (7091) was fine and seemed slightly smaller than we remembered. Bathroom was also small but adequate. Shower was good and powerful even if the dreaded shower curtain was a bit of a pain. Our attendant Wayam did an excellent job.
We were on anytime dining and never had an issue getting a table and did never had to wait. We were well looked after by Ravi. Food was good with plenty of choice, there were the usual      always available, steak, salmon and chicken. We tended to have breakfast in the Ocean View. Choice was great and always found a table. We live sitting outside at the back and watching the world go by. Used the Mast Grill on occasion for lunch where the burgers were good. We got a Speciality a Dining package which whilst being quite expensive was good with the highlight being the steaks in the Tuscan Grill.
We were on the Classic Drinks package which was good. Certain drinks incurred a supplement. We loved Martini Bar which served great cocktails. We went to a cocktail making class given by Putu the senior flair barman. Really good fun and he was an excellent teacher with a good style about him.
Found we berthed most of the time in industrial ports which required a shuttle bus to get out of the port. Woken up in Mumbai by the early morning PE from the crew of an Indian Navy ship nearby!!!
Booked most of the excursions through Celebrity though we did use Viator on a couple of occasions.
Dubai as a city does nothing for me, yes it has the tallest building in the world but I did not go on the cruise to look at modern buildings. We did a a Dune drive which was really good fun. Oman was quieter and more relaxed and we did a boat trip there.
Mumbai was manic, noisy, congested but at the same time was absolutely amazing. Did a great tour with Viator which was called Culinary Delights where we were taken to several cafes and restaurants to sample real Indian food. Excellent fun. Think we chose a bad trip in Goa which was just 90 mins in a bus then lunch at a pleasant hotel by a beautiful beach.
Cochin was relaxed and did a nice boat trip on a lake. The roads are busy and while distances are not huge, always takes a while to get there. Colombo was less manic than Mumbai but has some beautiful buildings. Phuket was the one port where we tendered. We did a trip to a lovely small island where we relaxed and snorkelled in lovely clear waters.
Our final destination, a Singapore, we found  interesting and did a trip to the Botanical Gardens which were beautiful.
Entertainment is a very personal thing, some of the acts were reAlly good. Elton John tribute, 4 Seasons tribute were all good. Best was a lady who had duetted with Meatloaf. She did 2 shows in the Theatre then did a show in the Atrium the next day.
Shops on board where not particularly exciting. Same old stuff you see on every cruise.
All staff were polite, cheerful and seemed to enjoy their jobs even if they work really hard.
Would be interesting to see Constellation after the refit but I hope it does not lose its charm.
