Having cruised regularly on many of the cruise liners we fancied a change to a River Cruise and were not disappointed. We joined the ship in Lyon and cruised on the beautiful River Rhone. There were around 140 passengers on board which was quite a change from the 3500 on out last cruise with Princess Cruises. The Ship Well appointed with plenty of space in the Lounge, Dining Room and Sun Deck. Steteroom Spacious with French Windows that allowed us to relax as we sailed down river Food The menus were outstanding for Breakfast, Lunch and Diner with good wines included at both lunch and dinner Entertainment It was not like the Big Ships, but a very good Pianist/Singer was in the Lounge each evening and on three evenings local groups came on board to entertain us Tours On most days we toured in the morning with excellent guides and returned to the ship for Lunch Staff All the staff could not have been more helpful and together they made a significant contribution to the enjoyment of the cruise, While we will no doubt have another cruise on teh Big Ships for tehmoment River Cruising is firmly on ou radar.
