Another year gone, countdown to Reflection in November

Well, the 8th of September has been and gone, another year passes, I will never be one who complains about getting older, so many wonderful people have already left us way too soon, getting older is an absolute privilege and I am very happy to still be around to enjoy my family and friends.

We started off with a lovely lunch in Stone (never been here before) my daughter traveled down with the grandchildren and we met halfway, seeing the size of this glass of wine I can assure you hubby was driving.

Later in the evening my son and his girlfriend joined us, with my sisters for a local quiz, and great news we won!! very appropriate for my birthday.

I had a lovely weekend, and spoilt rotten by hubby.

Arriving shortly after was this little surprise win from my favourites Celebrity Cruises,

A really well needed new carry on case, very posh, with APEX all over it, easy to spot on the carousel, if it ever gets checked in, it even has its own protective cover and already claimed by the hubby, as his suitcase is black and mine is Green, so far I have agreed we can share it!

The countdown is on now for our Caribbean cruise in November, all paid up and flight seats picked, just the last few details to get booked this month and I shall be all good to go, 27th November cannot wait, two nights in Fort Lauderdale followed by 10 Nights on Celebrity Reflection, we have never done this part of the world, we usually stick to the Mediterranean, so its a few firsts for both of us.

Think next year may be the year of late deals, 2021 will be a big birthday and we are hoping to finally get to Alaska, and funding permitted the Rocky Mountaineer.
