WIFI Galore

WIFI on cruises until recently was a luxury commodity that not many people could afford in the same way that Cruise lines are charging for phone calls made at sea, but no more as Cruise ship giant slashes internet charges by over 90% with guests now able to log on for just £3 a day. This is much more like it and it’s in line with hotels, airports and other public places. It’s always nice to have the WIFI for your tablet or phone, just to check football scores, e-mails and generally keep in touch with new back home. The largest cruise company in the world, Carnival Corporation, has announced a game-changing WiFi pricing structure and enhanced service on board its ships. Carnival Corporation enhance WiFi system offering 10 times faster speed. On the old pricing structure of 40p a minute, logging on all day would have cost nearly £300. The new WiFi system, expected to reach 40 per cent of fleet by the end of 2015, is set to deliver passengers an affordable, fast internet service even in the middle of the ocean.I think sooner or later other Cruise lines will follow to make this more affordable and widely available, there is no reason why not?carnival-cruise-WiFi
