Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas to sail in Europe

Royal Caribbean have announced that the second Quantum ship in the fleet the new Odyssey of the Seas will be in Europe in Summer 2021 which is very exciting! After it’s first season in the Caribbean in winter 20/21 it will return to Europe. Details of its European itineraries are yet to be confirmed and are expected to be released in November. This is the company’s 27th ship believe it or not! It will be similar to the Spectrum of the Seas with around 4800 passengers capacity and it’s set to sail in the Caribbean from November 2020. I have not been on any of the Quantum class ships yet but I may just try the new Odyssey when it comes out, should be an amazing ship. Odyssey of the Seas will feature a RipCord by iFLY sky-diving adventure, a North Star glass observation capsule that takes guests more than 300 feet above the ocean and a two-deck high Two70 entertainment venue and SeaPlex active space with a trapeze school, basketball court, roller-skating rink and bumper cars. After cruising on Oasis of the Seas earlier on this summer it gave me the taste for the mega Royal Caribbean ships even though there are issues with such huge ships when it comes to dealing with so many people on board, but you are never bored of the ship.

The line’s first Quantum-Ultra class ship, Spectrum of the Seas, launched in April with sailings out of Shanghai, China.Odyssey’s Caribbean cruises are now open for sale! Odyssey of the Seas will then offer 8- and 6-night Caribbean cruises, which include visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay. Odyssey of the Seas will be the first Quantum Ultra Class ship to call on Aruba and Curacao as part of its 8-night itineraries The European sailings will probably go on sale later on this year and I can’t wait!
