Symphony of the Seas

So, the new Royal Caribbean ship The Symphony of the Seas has done her maiden voyage and will be delighting her customers as this ship is amazing.

I was lucky enough to board her for two nights recently and she didn’t disappoint. Another ship in the Oasis class along with her sister ship, The Oasis, The Allure & Harmony of the seas. She’s identical to the Harmony. It’s so nice when you go on a brand new ship. I can see why everyone books in advance to get on any maiden voyage.

The Symphony of the seas is  different in it’s own ways and it’s the little things like the musical stairs, yes they play like a piano when you walk down them. The Aqua Theatre lights up beautifully at night. Plenty of art work around the ship. 18 decks is mind blowing. Soon as you arrive and see the sheer size of it you can’t help thinking wow! especially when she’s next to another ship and makes it look like a tug boat.

The ship is just incredible and will suit everyone of all ages. I love the Boardwalk, The carousel – Johnny Rockets an American 50’s style diner. The promenade has a rolled up crushed beetle car. The rising tide bar is impressive. Just a shame there isn’t so many seats as it’s really popular and people were queuing to get in. The theatre was huge and you can always have a go at the rock climbing wall or put on a pair of ice skates. Also for the thrill seekers you have the Abyss slide from deck 16. There is so much to see and do, I was wondering those who booked a week on board if they’d find the time to do it all. I’d want at least two weeks on this ship.

I was very impressed with the cabin size. I had an Ocean view with Balcony and I found it very spacious. I noticed though that there was no longer Tea & Coffee making facilities in your cabin. I’m a fan of that and i’d like to see that brought back.

This ship is amazing and I would recommend it anyone. even those who don’t like large ships. Look out for later blogs as I want to share more about this ship and show you a lot more photos.
