I can’t quite can’t believe we are into 2018 already but here we are. The past two weeks has just whizzed past and I am back to work properly tomorrow. We joke in travel in January that we will see all of our friends and family in April as we are so busy the first quarter of the year! There are some amazing cruise deals and a lot of the lines have big sales in January so it will be a busy one again.
We have some great things to look forward to as a family in 2018 including holidays and other exciting activities.
Millie turns 7 next month and she is having a party for some of her friends. I have a special surprise planned for her that I hope she will love! March sees me heading to Cancun with some friends for a week – this seems to be an annual thing after we had New York last March. It will be good this time to have some sunshine instead of the 5 foot snow! In April, the three of us are heading to London for the weekend to see The Lion King – we have a box booked so very excited for this.
May is a special birthday for my Mum. Now it’s very rude to disclose a ladies age but I am 33 and she is double my age then a little bit knocked off. To treat her I am taking her away for a weekend. She thinks that she will need a bikini but I have told her Blackpool isn’t that sunny in May! In June I have all of my bridesmaids together for a weekend so we can go dress shopping! That will give me just over a year to find the perfect dress so sure I will manage ok!
We have a quiet summer planned usually doing local things and then we are off to Turkey in October. We did have a cruise booked to the Caribbean but Millie didn’t fancy the long flight again so we decided to cancel it and book two smaller holidays instead. We decided on the Holiday Village in Turkey which looks fab – I have never been to one of them before. The second trip we booked was to see Santa in December! This has been kept top secret from Millie but I couldn’t resist and I am already on the countdown to meet him myself!
I look forward to speaking to you soon and getting your next cruise booked 🙂
