My MSC Bellissima Experience Part 1

I was very lucky to be able to spend a night on board MSC’s newest ship the Bellissima on Sunday.  This was a special event for agents to be able to experience the ship before it set sail yesterday from Southampton to Genoa on its Maiden Voyage.

Now what can I say about the Bellissima other than wow!  I was completely blown away by this stunning ship.  This was my first time on a MSC ship and I was very impressed.  From the modern streamlined interior to the huge pool areas and waterslides this ship has something for everyone.

I will give you a brief tour and a highlight of what there is on offer.

Cabins

I was lucky enough to be given a balcony cabin on Deck 10.  This was a Bella Experience cabin and a perfect size for 2 people.  The balcony was narrow but still enough room to sit comfortably with chairs and a table.  A new feature in the cabins is “Zoe”.  This is similar to Alexa where you can ask Zoe what activities are happening on the ship and where certain facilities are

Here are some photos of some of the other cabins I was able to see

Restaurants

There are the usual restaurants you come to expect on a ship.  Firstly you have the buffet restaurant which is huge so there is always plenty of room for everyone.  There is also a separate section for children to cater exclusively to them.

We dined in the evening in the main restaurant which is spread over the decks.  This is A La Carte Dining and the food was delicious.  I had duck, shrimp, tenderloin and a chocolate crumble

I visited the Speciality Restaurants on board.  There is the Butchers Cut Steakhouse, Hola Tapas Bar, Kaito Teppanyaki & L’Atelier French Bistro.  You can pre-book packages for these to have the opportunity to visit more than one of these.

Next time I will bring you details of the public areas including the pool areas, yacht club, spa and children’s club.

Until next time…Happy Cruising!
