Are the Norwegian Fjords the new Center Parcs?

As a family with a mum in Travel we have many holidays each year and my children have been lucky to visit lots of different countries and experience different cultures but if you ask them there favourite holiday they will always say a log cabin in the woods here in the UK and constantly want to go back.

We have all seen the adverts on TV with the families cycling, canoeing and having fun in the great outdoors and know instantly the product. But I havejust watched P&O’s advert for new ship Iona’s maiden season in Norway sailing the fjords and it could easily be mistaken for those famous forest holidays and that got me thinking are the Fjords the new Center Parcs???

W When you compare the cost for a family of four during school holidays you will be amazed at how a cruise could be a better option for your family.

Iona is spending the whole of Summer 2020 sailing 7 night Itineraries up to Norway from Southampton.

Similarly there is no driving involved in both holidays, once the car is parked up it really is time to relax. Plenty of restaurants to dine in each evening but with a cruise your food is all included in the price you pay. You will find a Spa to have the latest treatments and whilst sitting in the Jacuzzi with the dramatic Norwegian  scenery changing before your eyes.

Activities for Children are in abundance and once again all included in the fare. From Night Nurseries for babies to teen discos your children can enjoy making new friends and joining in with the cruise staff having fun.

Indoor domed glass ceiling swimming pools will mean lots of family fun even in inclement weather.

Once in Port the new excursions Iona will be offering look perfect for an adventurous family. Canoeing in the Fjords, climbing Mountains for the perfect Instagram picture instead of climbing walls indoors and i know what i would prefer.
