The Brand New P&O Cruises Iona On Sale Now.

The brand new Iona is finally here, brand new itineraries sailing Norway and the Norwegian Fjords throughout Summer 2020. So what’s all the fuss about? Here are some interesting facts about P&O’s newest and largest ship.

She was named after a small Scottish Island in the Inner Hebrides which interestingly enough has a population almost 30 times smaller than the capacity of Iona!

She will consist of 20 Decks in all, housing 2500 cabins and have a capacity of over 5200 people!

She will be 1106 feet long and have a gross tonnage of 182 900.

She will have a top speed of 26 miles per hour and has been touted as P&O’s most environmentally efficient ship to date (discuss).

Her accommodation has been designed by Richmond International and will include 18 whirlpools and 8 speciality dining venues.

But Summer 2020 is so far away I hear you cry, why book so early? Benefits of booking early include…..

Exclusive low prices, preferred choice of cabin, first pick of the brand new itineraries. You could be one of the first onboard, the Maiden Voyage sails 4 May 2020 for 9 nights from Southampton.

You can secure your places with a low 5% deposit, receive up to 15% discount on selected cruises if you are a P&O past passenger, with up to 5% bonus discount from Cruise.co.uk on selected sailings.

Also, kids go free on selected sailings, plus you get to choose from additional benefits such as onboard credit, free parking at Southampton or UK coach transfers for selected sailings.

This poses the obvious question…..what’s stopping you?

Bye for now.
