Well it has finally arrived the cruise line which I get asked the most about when it comes to an ‘All inclusive’ drinks packages has finally opened the flood gates and released their new ‘Ultimate drinks package’.
The ‘Ultimate drinks package will be available on selected cruises starting from March this year and is priced at £39.95per person per day. As with most other lines, all passengers in the cabin will need to purchase the package so there can be no sneaking through the odd G&T to your loved one and a huge bonus is that if you are traveling with children and purchase the package they will include the Childs soft drink package for free, result.
For £39.95 you will be entitled to up to 15 alcoholic drinks (with each drink having a maximum value of £6.95), however, almost every drink they serve on board is included in the package. You can add the package onto your booking prior to sailing or within 48 hours of stepping on board.
Another bonus is you will also receive a 20% discount off any drinks over the value of £6.95 too so if you fancy pulling out the stops one night to treat yourself to that nice bottle of red you’ll also be quids in.
P& O will be allowing passengers to add on this new package on the below sailings to start with so if you are on one of these you are a lucky peep.
Azura: 26 March 2019
Britannia: 7 April 2019
Aurora: 8 April 2019
Oceana: 18 April 2019
Ventura: 23 April 2019
Arcadia: 5 May 2019
I’m really pleased P&O have finally released this package, it has been long awaited by regular P&O cruisers and will certainly pull more business back there way as they have certainly lost custom over the last couple of years to Royal Caribbean and Marella who have been offering packages for some time now.
Let’s see how it goes, I think they’ve got it spot on, 15 drinks per day works out to an average of £2.67 per drink, can’t say fairer than that. And let’s face it could you drink more than 15 alcoholic drinks per day, every day for the duration of your 14 night cruise? They’d be rolling me off the ship if I could!!!!
£39.95per person per day I think is a bargain.
