Cruising with the King

Our new direct mail landing this week is causing quite a stir with you Elvis fans out there. A good past passenger contacted me yesterday, the conversation began ‘This is a cruise we don’t want to miss’.

If you’ve not already heard Fred Olsen are offering a 5 night mini break to Denmark where after a short journey you get the chance to visit Randers Graceland and revel in all things Elvis. Being a music lover I think this is a fantastic opportunity, I love Elvis Presley and I’ll be honest I did not even know such a place existed.

Randers Graceland is the only replica of Elvis Presley’s Memphis home outside the US and houses iconic memorabilia from timeless vinyls, stage costumes, film posters, and magical photo footage of the musicians short lived years.

Randers Graceland is decorated with lavish furnishings and houses an elaborate wardrobe which will transport you back to experience just what is was like to live like the King. There’s even a 50’s style diner where you will find an original jukebox which blasts out Elvis tunes all day long. What a way to spend the afternoon with cool milkshakes listening to ‘Heartbreak hotel’.

Back on board the entertainment continues with live tributes from Ben Portsmouth and Ben Thompson as well as film shows, an Elvis disco, and a great Elvis party at sea.

What a theme night that will be, I can just imagine other ships passing by watching the Braemar swaying, blasting out jail house rock with hundreds of passengers donning the Elvis quif.

This cruise Celebrating Elvis’s 80th Birthday departs from Harwick on the 13th April 2015 and prices start from £499 for an inside cabin.

Give me a call to secure your booking, this is definitely a theme cruise not to be missed……..
