Another year older

August Bank holiday is always great as it falls on my Birthday which is a perfect excuse for a party. As we had recently moved we made it a double celebration and turned it into a New Home BBQ too. So this weekend we invited 50 of our friends and family round for a good old knees up. Our family is well known for our party’s and this one did not let us down, not even the rain dampened our spirits. My boyfriend Mark is a Master Chef so he was well happy with his new BBQ purchase, and we bought a new marquee and chimanea to keep everybody warm.

We had a cocktail station with Woowoo’s and Cosmopolitan’s which went down fantastic and my uncle came with his DJ gear and kept our neighbour’s up till the early hours with some good old classic tunes. The chocolate fountain and BBQ bananas were also a great hit. It is safe to say a great time was had by all.

Also last week we took my niece and Mark’s Granddaughter to Hatton world for a weekend of camping with Snotry the pig. If you live in the midlands this is a great place that I would recommend for a fantastic family day out. The biggest slides you have ever seen and the most photogenic animals, check out the goat, yes it is the one on the right that is me on the left. For a 2 day pass to Hatton world and 2 nights camping it cost £35 per person. Great value, well worth a visit.
