Whilst in La Coruna on our Crown Princess cruise we stumbled upon a Company hiring segways costing 10 euro’s for 20 minutes. It was great fun and an easy way to quickly explore a good stretch of the coast.

Once you have mastered the steering with your guide (basically less than 1 minute demonstration) you are let loose to go it alone. Don’t worry about the tourist, they soon move out of the way once they see you coming.
I’m not sure you’re insurance covers you for this mode of transport but so long as you don’t go mad how much harm can you do!
