Perfect day is a brand new island in the Caribbean exclusive to Royal Caribbean customers.

For next year the Independence of the Seas will sail out of Miami instead of Southampton and call into Cococay in the Bahamas to meet the massive demand for this private island.

Royal Caribbean made the decision a few weeks ago to redeploy the popular ship from Southampton and cancel thousands of holidays. They did offer a good compensation deal.. And most guests affected managed to switch to another cruise.

All this was to meet the demand for the new private island – Perfect day and it is the perfect name and a great way to describe this island because there is something there for everyone!

Waterpark – massive water slides to enjoy and the biggest wave pool in the Caribbean.

You can chill on the sunbeds and have a snack too!

Splash away bay and captains jills galleon are free entry.

The Thrill waterpark and zip line come with a charge.

The waterpark depends on the season – prices range from $44 to $80pp for the full day and $39 – $74 for a half day

There is a 1,600-foot zip line which will cost $79 to $139 per ride.

You can save by doing a combo water park and zip line package will be offered at $99 to $179pp

Groups of up to six can rent a waterpark cabana for $499 to $869

Up Up and away – take a ride on massive helium balloon 450 metres above the land! What a view that will be over this beautiful island

The cost of the balloon ride will be from $39-$99 per person

Oasis lagoon – this is a massive freshwater pool with different areas to enjoy soaking up the sun or enjoying a cocktail. There are kid-friendly areas and adult only sections. Swim up bars and private cabanas with attendant

Chill island – this private beach area is perfect for a chilled out day at the beach where you can hire a private cabana. beach cabanas rent from $299 – $569 which will fit up to 8 people
