Roaming Ruth's Travels

I'm off on the MSC Preziosa

The time has finally arrived for me to set sail on the new MSC Preziosa.

I don’t actually go until Friday but today is my last day at work so that I can spend some time with my children before I go as feeling a little guilty for going off on holiday without them even though they have been on holiday to the Caribbean with us this year.

I am sure they will be fine as they are staying at Grandmas so they are guaranteed to be spoilt rotten and probably won’t miss us at all !!

I am really looking forward to a week of pure relaxation and hope the weather is nice so I can enjoy a few cocktails in the sun. If not I don’t need to worry too much as the Preziosa has a swimming pool with a retractable roof which is an excellent idea for those days at sea when it’s too cold to sit outside.

I have never cruised with MSC before so I am looking forward to a new experience.

You can see from my blog that I have cruised with many different lines but for some reason have not got round to MSC so it will be interesting to see how they compare.

In the past I haven’t been sure about recommending them mainly because I have little experience where they are concerned but most of my customers seem very positive when they return.

I think it will be ideal for me, I like new larger ships so the Preziosa will be perfect

There is a 4D cinema and bowling alley so if the weather is not kind to us there will be plenty to keep me occupied. My husband suggested I pack my gym clothes so I can go and keep him company but I might just forget to pack them !! A holiday for me is about good food, seeing the sights and relaxing so I fully intend to make the most of it. After all I am sure I will be back to 6am starts before I know it.

I will be back to work on Monday 4th November so if you are thinking of an MSC cruise and want to see how I got on please give me a call. I will also be writing a blog about my cruise so you can read all about it when I come back.
