Roaming Ruth's Travels

All inclusive cruising

All inclusive is proving more and more popular with cruise passengers.

In fact the most common question I am asked now days is ‘can I buy a drinks package’ and ‘how much are the drinks’

Hotels have been offering all inclusive for years and whilst I am not a big fan I would look to have this option on a cruise.

The reason being is that I like to venture out on holiday and experience the local restaurants and nightlife so I find being all inclusive restricts this. However a cruise ship is a floating resort with many different dining and nightlife options so as the drinks would be included in any of the venues it would take any worry away of how much the bill will be at the end.

Celebrity Cruises have just extended their booking deadline for a complimentary drinks package.

Bookings can now be confirmed up until the 21st October on their sailings from Southampton, Mediterranean, Caribbean and Alaska programme when booking a balcony cabin or above.

Fred Olsen offer drinks packages from as little as £10.00 per night and MSC from £20.00 per night.

This is excellent value for money and I have taken up this offer myself when I cruise with MSC in a few week’s time.
