Dilly Dilly!

I must say the Bud Light advert really could not have come at a better time, it started out as the catch phrase for my hen do and ended up making it’s way right through the wedding itself.

I can’ believe how quick it’s been and gone. All the planning and prepping and now i can i’v been married almost 4 weeks. We had such a fantastic day and couldn’t have picked a hotter weekend for it. On that note i can not stress enough how worrying it is sitting in the back of a hot car with a 3 tier wedding cake for 2 hours whilst driving to the venue. However some how it made it their in one piece. And what an amazing cake it was. I wanted a castle with lego characters and a dragon and that’s exactly what we got.

I knew i would struggle to sleep the night before but the hot weather really didn’t help. I felt much calmer once the bridesmaids, hair stylist, make up artist and photographer all rocked up to my room. Keeping busy with this lot distracted me a bit. My mum did a cracking job getting me all fastened up in my dress. The bridesmaids could see out my bedroom window all the guests arriving and they were in awe at all their outfits. Oh sorry if you haven’t read my previous blog it was a Medieval themed wedding.

The registrar’s were so lovely and really funny, especially when i found out they told my future husband he was punching. I’m sure you can imagine i found that hilarious.

Could not have asked for a better ceremony, no trips or falls, kids were so well behaved, everyone was very relaxed and a few giggles with the registrar.

I would love to share more photos with you but i’ll be here forever and i don’t want to bore you with them but here’s a few which include some of the colourful characters we had. You name it our friends and family probably turned up as one including jesters, kings, queens, knights, priests, tavern wench, tavern landlord, Sheriff of Nottingham the list goes on.

I would like to thank my colleagues and customers for their congratulations on our wedding day it really meant a lot to us.
