My Majorca Holiday!

Hi again.  If you follow my blog, you will know that I recently came back from a holiday in Majorca.  I took my sister and 6-year-old niece away for the week.  We stayed in the Sol Palma Nova, and what a lovely hotel it was.  We were welcomed warmly by the Reception staff who checked us in and advised our room wouldn’t be ready until about 2pm, that was ok though, as they gave us our All-Inclusive bands straight away, so we were able to chill out by the pool.

When we did finally check in, the room was very spacious, and we had a lovely big balcony with a pool view and partial sea view.  And the room itself was lovely and spacious, more than enough for the 3 of us.

So, we headed down to the pool area once more and my niece played in the kids pool, where there are 3 water slides, so kept her going for the week.  She even joined in with the kids club, which was great to see her creations when she came out.

The week was then spent chilling out, we didn’t have to fight for sunbeds, which is always good, and there was never too much for a queue at the bars.  The restaurant, we always found a table, and the evening entertainment was really good, always something for the kids early on, then an act in the evening, with karaoke then later on.

We did panic about the weather, as we had obviously seen the flash flooding on the East of the island, but thankfully it only rained for 1 day whilst we were there.  We left it until the last day to visit Marineland, as my niece wanted to see the dolphins, so as a treat, my sister paid for her to have a photo with a dolphin and sea lion.  She loved every minute of it.

Overall it was a great holiday, and the hotel was really nice, so I have booked to go again next year and taking the whole family this time.
