Woody’s back! Must be time for a new ship.

Woody’s back!

 Not the lovable cowboy from Toy Story, but a woodpecker who has visited our garden every spring for the past few years. His constant tapping on the oak tree signifies the end of winter along with the bursting daffodils and cherry blossom. It seems to be a bit early this year but welcome none the less.  

 

We may have not had the ice and snow that we had last year but we’ve certainly had the wind and rain. Maybe winter’s not over but these first glimpses of warmer weather and new beginnings are always exciting.

In the cruise industry, this time of year is also traditionally when new ships and itineraries are announced and this year is no exception with Royal Caribbean’s brand new Anthem of the Seas going on sale tomorrow to launch next year.

Next month we will be able to book Britannia, P&O’s new and largest ship which again will launch in 2015.

 

So…lots to look forward to. What’s your first sign of spring?
